We believe the Bible is God’s holy, inspired Word to the world He created. Its primary purpose is to reveal God’s love and presence so that lives may be transformed.
We believe in one God — three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe God the Father is the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens and the earth.
We believe Jesus Christ is both true God and true man, sent to bridge our separation from God. As our Savior, He paid the full price for our sin through His death on the cross and rose victoriously from the grave.
We believe the Holy Spirit creates and strengthens faith, gathers us as the Church, equips us with spiritual gifts, and empowers us through the Word, Baptism, and Holy Communion to live lives shaped by Christ’s love.
We believe we are rescued from sin by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. This saving faith is a free gift of the Holy Spirit, given through God’s Word, Baptism, and Holy Communion.
We believe Baptism and Holy Communion are God’s means of grace. By combining everyday elements with the power of His Word, He works faith in the lives of those He calls His children.
We believe the Church is God’s visible presence in the world. Though made up of imperfect people, God accomplishes His perfect work through those He has redeemed, filled with His Spirit, and strengthened in faith.
