Meet Our Staff
Kal Waetzig
Senior Pastor
Pastor Kal accepted the call to serve St. Paul's Church, Bella Vista School and the Tracy community in November of 2006. He and his lovely wife, Lori, have three children (all grown) and five grands. Pastor Kal seeks, above all, to bring joy to the heart of God through helping others recognize and respond to God's great call for their life in Jesus.
Joel Rockemann
Missions Pastor
Joel loves our church, our community and sharing the good news of Jesus with whoever gives him that chance. Though he has been with our team since 2011 as first the Director of Music and then a sent missionary to Haiti, Joel most recently accepted the call to serve as Mission Pastor in August of 2022. He adores his sweet wife, Ingrid, and amazing children, Owen and Ella and loves taking family adventures with them as often as possible. Joel’s desire is to help create a missionary mindset throughout our church and school, focused on addressing real needs of real people in our community.
Steve Finau
Director of Worship & Technologies
Steven has been married to his wonderful wife, T, for 12 years. His hobbies are fun board games with competitive people, movies (especially suspense/thrillers), translating and recording songs, and table tennis. His favorite athlete of all time is Pete Sampras. He also has a heart for teaching music to beginners. Steven and T know that the Lord has called them to St. Paul’s and have only been here since July of ‘24, but feel right at home in this new chapter, and are excited for what God has in store.
Marybeth Muldowney
Director of Campus & Maintenance
Marybeth joined the St. Paul's and BVCA family in 2019. After graduating from Concordia University Chicago with a certification as a Director of Christian Education she worked in both church and school settings in youth ministry and as a classroom teacher. She is passionate about encouraging and equipping families to have faith discussions in their homes; discussions that lead families to know and live in the grace of God! She and her husband Brian welcomed their first child Eilís the summer of 2022 and they love spending time together playing games and watching hockey.
Ed Ramirez
Director of Campus & Maintenance
Ed Ramirez and his family have been residents of Tracy for over 30 years and active members of St. Paul's Church. Ed and his staff have been caring for our BVCA Facilities for the past 8 years with a continued commitment to keep our Church and School Campus safe and well maintained. Email
Kim Adams
Administrative Assistant
Kim is married and has 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. She enjoys spending time outside, watching movies & reading. She feels blessed being a long timer on staff with over 20+ years of ministry work at St. Paul's/Bella Vista.
Shannon Earle
Administrative Assiste
Shannon is married to her husband, James, and they are proud parents of two BVCA alumni, Lila Jo and Brody. As a family, they love traveling, visiting Disneyland, and cheering on the San Francisco Giants. After many years of volunteering at the school, Shannon joined the office staff in 2022. She feels truly blessed to be part of the amazing team and community at St. Paul’s/Bella Vista.
