Read Faith Sharing Events – Events shared by our St. Paul’s members and friends:

  • I shared Christ with six people at a public school and it was just amazing to see what God did for these people.  No name/date.

  • A  co-worker of mine is gathering personal care and household items for a woman she has come into contact with.  This woman was previously homeless and has been connected with County services for mental and physical help.  They are helping her get into an apartment.  So, several of us are bringing items to donate and I have included a Bible with my donated items.  I don’t know her name but God does!  Please pray with me that God’s Word coming into her home will spread into her life.  Submitted by JC 8/30/09.

  • I noticed a co-worker was researching some things at work using a Bible.  I shared with her the Portals of Prayer book and gave her the Light Bible reading plan.  Submitted by QK 8/2/09.

  • I  shared my faith with a single mom who has 2 very active children.  She is just worried about surviving.  I told her that the community of Christ is a loving and caring family.  He alone can open this family up to her.  I told her to call anytime, and I invited her and her children to come to St. Paul’s.  Submitted by JD 7/26/09

  • I  shared my faith with my wife and I pray with her daily.  Submitted by MS 7/5/09

  • My daughter recently adopted a 7 month old methamphetamine addicted baby who had been raised by a Christian foster family.  The baby is soothed only Christian music. Please pray for the baby and my daughter and her family.  Submitted by MM 6/21/09.

  • I  shared with a friend how even in the worst of times, God is there to help us.  But, things happen.  But, God has a plan for all of us.  No name/date.

  • My 80 year old uncle is ready to die.  Not knowing Jesus, he is scared but won’t admit it.  I talked with him and he brushed me away.  I left a cross on his dresser.  I saw him clutch the cross and cry.  Submitted by JD  6/21/09.

  • At work I shared the my faith with J. at work.  We spoke of last week’s sermon.  I told her I would download it for her to list to.  Submitted by QK 6/14/09.

  • Our High School small group has been sharing their faith over the past 6 weeiks with A.  She has great questions and wants to know more.  We are all praying for her to come to accept Christ as her Savior.  What an amazing experience!  Submitted by DC 6/14/09.

  • I wore a Christian t-shirt with a saying “Gone Fishing” with a symbol on it.  3 people responded by saying “nice shirt” – It was nice to be a personal billboard for God/Jesus.  Submitted by TK 5/31/09.

  • I asked J. how we was doing with him faith as he was struggling with the economy.  I spoke with him about giving things to the Lord in prayer.  Submitted by QK 5/30/09

  • We met a Jewish boy and told him that Jesus loves him and we wouldn't not love him even if he was from another religion because Jesus loves everyone!!   Submitted by BC 5/24/09.

  • I directed a friend out-of-state to the “Calm My Anxious Heart” Bible study and she feels like the scripture is of great value in her life and would love more suggestions for “mother-oriented” Bible studies.  Submitted by KC 5/3/09.

  • A man has attended men's Bible study for the last 2 Saturdays mornings, has no congregation affiliation, but is "seeking Jesus".  Please pray for his commitment to Christ.  Submitted by SQ (4/26/09)

  • This week I personally shared the Gospel with a single father re: his troubled teenage son. Also with a Christian woman who just learned her husband was having an affair. I also had the opportunity to share that I was a Christian with a teenage when I was asked.  Submitted by T.K (not dated).

  • I just have to share an incredible story of God's protection. This last week, I was traveling on I-580 and came upon a previous accident. Since many lanes were slowed and stopped I too came to a stop. However the car behind me did not. Somehow through it all God cleared the way for us both to get to the side of this very busy freeway and with the help of the Highway patrol to get safely off to the next exit ramp. There was prno damage at all to my vehicle and all were get from any injury.  I am grateful for God's protection.  Submitted by M.M. (not dated).
